Free energy is passion. Energy when distorted turns into emotions, distorting bright eyes along.
All emotion is stress. It comes into existence as reaction to the imposition of values morals ethics upon our psyche.

Passion expresses itself as interest in whatever is there all around without preferring one thing over the other.
Emotion expresses itself as likes and dislikes preferring a few things over other while avoiding the rest few altogether.

Passion lets the mind remain free whereas emotion keeps it tied up with trying to achieve what it likes as well as trying to avoid what it dislikes.
Emotions always keep our mind busy with devising ways to seek pleasure and avoid pain.

Passion welcomes all, whether pleasure or pain, as it is interested in any and everything as it comes to it. It plays with whatever life has to offer to it enjoying the game without ever trying to win or to lose.
Emotion never plays. It rather fights. It fights a war with everything it likes or dislikes in order to win and never lose it at any cost.

Have you ever noticed that eyes show it all? Just by looking at someone's eyes you can immediately tell what emotion their owner is going through!
That means different emotions shape the area around the eyes in specifically different ways.

How is it possible technically?
Only through squeezing the muscles around the eyes in specifically different ways!
That is what stress is.

And it's not only the muscles around the eyes that are kept squeezed, the total body falls victim to it. It's only that the squeezing of muscles in other organs is not as obviously discernible to the eye as the squeezing in the area around the eye is.
All different eye expressions are the expressions of stress in the mind as well as in the body.

Only passion lets the free energy keep our bright eyes wide open without any expression in them other than the interest in whatever is there in front of them, unconditionally.
