Human Genetics, Human Brain and The Symptoms of Stress

Human genetics along with symptoms of stress also has its effect on the human brain.

Quite a few brain disorders like Tay-Sachs disease, fragile X syndrome, intrinsic circadian rhythm disorders, malfunctions in the embryonic development of the brain and Down syndrome are congenital and their etiology points toward chromosomal errors, which are in no case unaffected by stress during pregnancy.

Human Brain and Stress

Human genome comprising over three billion nucleotides is the sum total of all the genes contained in the human chromosome. Human Genome Project in 2003 came up with 20,000 protein coding genes by sequencing all the DNA in it and is now moving forward to humanly engineer the sequence in order to cure almost all human diseases.

Will it be able to turn our dead and dull eyes into shining bright eyes on our face?

It will revive the much talked about nature versus nurture debate once again!

But a more important question to answer is if genome project would be able to relieve human stress from its life or not.
