Bright Eyes

Living with A Target in Life Fills Stress in The Bright Eyes

We all live with the stress of a target in our life, dreaming for it with our bright eyes in the broad daylight.

Aim, goal, destination... these are all the words that define what we stand for.

Ask a hundred people what their aim in life is, and 99 out of 100 will give you a detailed blueprint of what they are going to do in order to fulfill their aim, achieve their goal or reach their destination.

Target

Just look at their eyes when they are explaining it all to you, and you will find they are looking somewhere into their own mind dreaming of and planning for what they are going to do in future.

They are not looking at YOU!

How can we have a pair of two bright eyes on our face when they are not looking intently at what, or who, is there in front of them right now, here... at this very moment? They lose their sparkle very fast!

We don't look AT things; we keep looking into our own mind through what we are looking at!

And the mind never looks into the moment; it always keeps wandering here and there... either in the future or in the past without any bright eyes at its disposal.

1 out of the 100 that was left may tell you s/he doesn't have any target to fulfill in her/his life.

Target

The rest 99 will pity this one, the one who doesn't have a direction for his actions to take shape in her/his life.

What will this person do in life?

Will s/he keep wandering aimless in life without doing anything worthwhile on this planet and die unsung of her/his achievements and fulfillment that s/he could have got registered in her/his name and been proud of them?

Alexander had his aim to win the world and he fulfilled it. Then he died with his eyes still hungry to win more...

Target

What aim did Jesus have in his life? Was it to get crucified? I don't think any sane person can have THAT as an aim... and Jesus was much saner than we all here are!

He just lived his life without any stress, loving others with his shining bright eyes for what they were...

... And you just cannot love anyone unless you look AT her/him and not through her/him into your own mind as such!

One, who loves, looks at what s/he loves and not at the aims in her/his mind.

And it is only such a person who does something really worthwhile in life like Jesus did... and not anything worthless like Alexander did!

Every target that we have devoted our life to - be it of a person or be it of humanity - is a futile stress of running a rat race that just doesn't have any finish line on its track.

It's only the aimless love that shows us the right direction we should be heading to.

Target

And the beauty of love is that it is always without any aim, without any motive behind it.

The moment we have an aim in mind to fulfill, we immediately stop loving and start running in a wrong direction that ultimately takes us nowhere but to our stress that we call THE MIND.

Love has no time to mind, no aim to follow, no stress to fall victim to, and no ambition to uphold.

Love only has the passion of joyfully walking hand in hand with the fellow human beings along... always in the right direction... since walking hand in hand with the fellow human beings along is the only worthwhile target in life on earth!
