Now, positive thinking is a bigger stress than negative thinking is.
Bright eyes never think positive.
They just see. And when they see, they don't think. Neither positive nor negative! That is what makes us into a 'seer'.
Jesus was a seer. He saw what others didn't. He could do so only because he was not a positive thinker, nor was he a negative.
We have yet to have a human on earth who has her/his eyes as bright as Jesus had.

He saw with his bright eyes whatever it was, and didn't attach any positive or negative tags to it.
We do. We attach tags to what we see whether positive or negative.
Why do we do so?
...Because we want it to be positive!
Again, why?
...Because we are scared of its being negative!
What scares us?

Our past! Our past has been negative and we are scared of it repeating itself in our future.

Our future scares us, pushing us into negative thinking.
We plan action for our past not to repeat itself in our future, and then hope for our plans to come successful.
It is this hope only which we call positive thinking and which has taken its birth from the womb of our scare from our past.

Scare is the mother of hope. If one is not scared, one never needs any hope in life.
Negative thinking is the mother of positive thinking. If one doesn't think negative, one never needs thinking positive in life.
Every positive thinker is essentially a negative thinker.
Thinking is a great tool at our disposal, which we have corrupted through adulterating with either positive or negative tags attached to it.
When our bright eyes 'see', we only think about what they are seeing. We don't think past. We don't think future. We just think what we perceive and act accordingly.

But when we are scared of seeing the way things are, we project our dreams on to them assigning extra importance to our projections.
Our sight goes blurred as our bright eyes go dull.
How many people can you count around you who either never used spectacles to see whether near or far, or shall never use them as reading glasses as they enter their forties?
None of us has that streak of luster in our eyes that makes them so healthy, so beautiful and so much at peace!
Our thinking no more leads to action, but only to reaction as it gets tagged with either positive or negative.
Negative comes first, scaring our soul; and then comes positive, turning us into dreamers, masking the negative reaction with another new reaction that we call positive.
Negative reaction was only one step into stress, but the positive has to take two of them into it. One, to mask the stress of negative reaction and the second, to maintain itself against the stress of what the reality threatens it with.

Our life turns as complex as our complexes themselves are!
