Since a suppressive human society was formed, humanity has been keeping its upper back slouched as it turned its bright eyes dull too!
Why, exactly?
This, again, is a result of early toilet training in life but this time, trying to control urination only and hence it has a close connection with the second way of slouching the lower back turning it a cousin to the sacral chakra beneath it.
Controlling urination is sure needed at times but that should be a conscious process and not an unconscious habitual one.
Our culture is in a hurry to teach its kids the lesson of toilet training as early in life as possible.
With forced and repeated training, the chakra gets established contracting the thoracic diaphragm down and in both at the center and on its sides.
Energy again gets trapped at the third point in the body and is stopped from flowing free in and out of it.
