Temporomandibular joint dysfunction limits the movement of the jaws and pains them.
Or can we say it's the other way round?
Since we limit the movement of the jaws by habitually placing them in a distorted way, the dysfunction ensues.
The joints are strained.
As the joints get strained, they function less effectively forcing the jaws to keep limited to the distorted position that had started the problem in the first place as such.
It further strains the joints, fixing them in their jammed position. This is what the entire humanity today is a victim to.
If at any time the jaws open jerkily more than their limited allowance, the jammed joints get a jolt and the muscles dealing with the movement start paining.
The only way out is to train the jaws slowly and gradually to come out of the limitation of their movement in order to free the joints from their age-old slumber of inaction.
Since when they act full, it immediately results in two bright eyes on the face indicating the brightness of the total body, mind and life!
