And the man was able to force this regulation simply because he had more muscle power that the woman had in her body.
The society started turning a male dominated one.
It wasn't that man was not at a loss when he ordered the channeling of free sex as an artificially controlled one regulated by the marriage records and the marriage certificate issued to both - the man and the woman; but the moral obligations of monogamous loyalty to her/his partner were not as morally binding for man as they were for the woman.

A man could still have sex stealthily with a woman who was not made a part of this marriage system and was signified as a prostitute whose job was it to entertain men only.
But if a woman ever made a blunder of doing so with a man, the irate members of the new social order comprising both men and women would simply stone her to death.
The innocent and natural urge of free sex went subservient to the moral dictates of marriage conspired to be glamorized as pious bond between the husband and the wife who were matched by God HIMSELF even before they took their birth on earth.
Whom are we fooling with all this socio-religious-cultural propaganda in our minds and life? Our own self!
